When in Brussels, eat chocolate!
Any chocolate lover will feel ecstatic when roaming the streets of Brussels
. Sure, there are plenty of architectural and cultural attractions here but my favorite thing about Brussels is that there is a chocolaterie at every other corner! And while Belgian chocolate can burn a hole in your pockets when buying them in the US, they are a lot less expensive in Brussels. Of course there are a ton of chocolate shops and the price range varies accordingly. Try different shops to find your favorite. Personally, I love small artisanal shops so when we happened upon Elisabeth I knew I found my spot. The charming little store not far from the Grand Place has an exquisite selection. The quality is top notch and you'll find flavors like cardamom, wasabi, jasmine, and other exotic spices and fragrant herbs. So if you're looking for a chocolaterie that offers more than what you'd find back home then I highly recommend visiting Elisabeth.
