Whale-Watching in Victoria
Animal lovers planning a visit to Victoria should add a whale-watching excursion to their to-do list. Besides the potential it offers for whale sightings, being out on the water gives you the chance to spot dolphins, porpoises, sea lions, seals and eagles. Most boats depart from the Inner Harbour and stop at Race Rocks Ecological Reserve, the protected waters where the Strait of Juan de Fuca meets Victoria's Salish Sea.
