Where The Locals Go To Eat In The Gaslamp, San Diego
There are a few really great places to eat in the Gaslamp neighborhood of San Diego and it can be tough as a local to find a standout among the typical touristy fare. So we were really happy when we found Water Grill.
The wall have huge windows on them that are open for most of the year. Take a seat at one of the booths there for excellent people watching while you enjoy your meal.
The seafood is incredibly fresh and they have massive tanks along one wall containing lobsters, prawns, and crab.
Definitely order a crafted cocktail- my husband loved the Campfire Sling - rye whiskey, maple syrup & chocolate bitters poured over block ice with scorched orange peel.
Their bread pudding was absolutely phenomenal, so even though you want to come here for seafood- don't forget to leave room for desert!
