Puebla is one of those amazing Mexican cities where food is a focus. It is the mole capital of Mexico and while there on a recent business trip, had the chance to go to Vittorio's Restaurant. Vittorio has two location. This one, located right on the zocale - the main plaza in the heart of the historic city - has the perfect vantage point to look out onto the square as well as the Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. The restaurant is technically an Italian restaurant, but they have a local specialties menu that includes these amazing chalupas, as well as the best chicken mole Poblano I've ever had.
