There are delicacies and then there are delicacies that should probably be outlawed, or at least strictly rationed. These sweetbreads, fried until crispy and then topped with ham that is also fried until crispy, is probably one of those.

Vinoteka Ardoka in Hondarribia is one of the town's best pintxo bars, and it's smack in the middle of the town's most happening weekend spot, the fishermen's barrio.
