Naches are a small, golf ball-sized fruit that can be found in certain areas of Mexico. Locals will dip or sprinkle their naches with chile powder for more of a kick. Alone, they have a sweet taste but are best with chile powder. A bag can be purchased at local street markets for about 5 Pesos. I enjoyed these naches while shopping at a street market in the Zongolica region of the state Veracruz in Mexico.
