Take a First Nations Art Tour at YVR
As soon as you step off the plane at YVR you’ll be greeted by bold First Nations art works, from colourful totem poles to intricate carvings, welcoming visitors to the city, and the unceded Coast Salish territory. If you’ve time at the airport then check out this self-guided tour to the works on display. New for 2016, are four pieces carved by acclaimed First Nations artist Reg Davidson recounting Haida myths of creation and mischief, including a 24-foot carved cedar pole entitled Raven Stealing the Beaver Lake.
