Gogh and Enjoy a Starry Night
Just upon the outskirts of Eindhoven, Netherlands lays a unique gem for the adventurous traveler. A solar powered glow in the dark bike path, set in the form of Vincent Van Gogh's "The Starry Night". The luminous trail is a 600 meter long section of the 335 km long Van Gogh cycle route that runs through much of Southern Holland. For those like myself wanting to keep it casual, I highly suggest beginning in Eindhoven and taking the bike path to the quaint countryside town of Nuenen (where Van Gogh painted "The Potato Eaters"). Grabbing a bite to eat there and then making one's return ride just before nightfall for the genuine experience.
