Beagle Channel

Your jaw might literally drop when you view the awe-inspiring natural scenery that surrounds this 240-kilometer (149-mile) waterway, a border between Argentina and Chile. After leaving port, excursions sail past a collection of rocky islands whose shores bulge with shell deposits and whose inhabitants include hardy sea lions and seabirds. Look for a historic lighthouse and remnants and ruins attributed to the local Yaghan people.
