University of North Carolina at Charlotte: Main Office
See the Moon and Stars from UNC's Observatory
The University of North Carolina, Charlotte, is home to a brand-new observatory. Its views of the heavens are open to not only students but the general public at well. Visitors can spot the moon, stars, and planets through the observatory's state-of-the art telescope during regularly scheduled "star parties." The observatory also opens for special cosmic events, such as comet sightings.
