University of California Botanical Garden

200 Centennial Dr, Berkeley, CA 94720, USA

I had heard that the botanical garden at UC Berkeley in Berkeley, California, was worth visiting, but I didn’t expect it to be so beautiful. Set among the hills that rise above the city, the botanical garden seems to go on and on, one beautiful bend and winding path after another. With 34 acres of plants from all over the world including rare and endangered plant species, a Japanese garden, bridges, and a meditation garden, all with a backdrop of evergreen hills, this botanical garden is a great place to spend a couple of hours of your day in Berkeley. A great place for kids, too.
