Beach days and dolphin watching in Troia, Portugal
The Troia peninsula just south of the city of Setubal, in Portugal, is a long and narrow strip of sand dunes and endless beaches separating the Sado river from the Atlantic Ocean. On the river side you have spectacular views towards the Arrabida mountains as well as very good chance of spotting the dolphins who live in the estuary. On the Atlantic side, you have long white sand beaches and stunning sunsets... a perfect place for a relaxing weekend, only an hour away from Lisbon.
