Not for anyone in a big hurry, the Hershey Train—named for and built in the 1920s by the Hershey Chocolate company to transport workers and sugar—is an odd relic from prerevolutionary Cuba. The train takes about three hours to cover 100 kilometers (60 miles) from the Casablanca Station in Havana to the city of Matanzas; it makes 47 stops along the way. It’s a fun and unusual way to enjoy the landscape beyond the capital.
