Every January and February, Toronto's flashiest restaurants serve up tasty and affordable prix fixe menus. (There is a similar festival in the summer, aptly titled Summerlicious).
Taste an appetizer, main and dessert from $15 to $30 for lunch; and up to $45 for dinner pending on the restaurant.
In 2014, my picks for restaurants participating in #LiciousTO (the festival's premier hashtag on Twitter) are Canoe, Auberge De Pommier, The Corner House, Nota Bene, Aria, Momofuku Daisho and Momofuku Noodle bar. Noodle bar's lunch and dinner menus cost $15 and $25 respectively.
This is a great way to try out new restaurants you otherwise may not have a chance to visit and see new parts of the city or the classic restaurants that make Toronto so delicious.
