We ducked into this cozy little bakery early on a Saturday morning. We got there soon after it opened to find the two gals running the place busy baking up a storm. Everything they offer (warm crusty breads, toasty cinnamon rolls, powdered pastries …) is made from scratch, and they're open from 7:30 a.m. until it's all gone. Rumor has is that the place gets crowded later in the morning, and that it's best to buy while everything's still fresh. We got there early enough that our currant scones were still oven-warm, and the only crowd we encountered was a flock of lambs outside the door.
