Titanic Experience, Cobh
The Cork Harbour town of Cobh – known then as Queenstown – was the last port of call for the ill-fated luxury liner in 1912. A visit here starts with a check-in when you get a boarding pass with the name and details of a real passenger on it – as 123 passengers boarded the ship at Cobh.
The experience will take you through the journey to the Titanic and to experience life on board the ship – with a 30-minute guided tour and free time afterwards to browse the exhibition area.
One of the most poignant parts of the visit is at the end, when you find out whether the name you have been given was one of the passengers that survived or not.
