Time Travel to the Jazz Age
Catch the ferry from downtown Manhattan to Governors Island, where you’ll find yourself transported to the swinging 1920s. Thousands of partygoers, dressed to the nines in Gatsby-era fashion, sip on Prohibition-themed cocktails in the late summer sun as Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra play. Activities include dance lessons, vintage car exhibitions, croquet, and Kidland for the junior gents and flapperettes. Charleston and Peabody dance competitions as well as croquet tournaments allow guests to show off their best century-old skill sets.
