Ti Kaz La
Ti Kaz La, which means small house, ranks easily among the top five best restaurants across the Guadeloupe Islands. It could be because of its setting–on picturesque Terre-de-Haut in Les Saintes, with an open air, ground level dining deck with steps leading onto the soft white beach along the gorgeous bay of Les Saintes. But it is also the surprising menu, a fusion of French and Creole plates. Try the seafood platter, with five types of crustaceans seasoned with Guadeloupean spices, oven roasted lobster with a sauce chien–a local seasoning sauce–tuna tempura, pig feet with rice and truffle sauce, coconut chicken, and other surprises. Save space and order a mango soufflé for dessert ahead of time, to ensure preparation time.
