Thorskogs Slott is a small, beautiful castle located just 25 miles north of Gothenburg
, and only a few hundred yards from the banks of the Göta River. Nestled in a meticulously designed and maintained English park, the grand manor house is a place for relaxation and the good life. Historically, the site dates back to 1249 when Norway and Sweden
signed a peace treaty here. The current house was built in 1892, and has several dining rooms, small and large, so parties of all sizes can enjoy some privacy while feasting on venison with forest mushrooms or bisque of Jerusalem artichoke with bleek roe and matured Swedish hard cheese.
