On Saturdays, from May through September, farmers and artisans from across Orcas Island set up their stalls on the Village Green. The atmosphere is lively, and the goods for sale go beyond organic produce, jams, snacks, and drinks. You can also browse for jewelry (some of it made with local sea glass), art, crafts, and clothing. The Green generally acts as a community hub; it hosts events—a July 4 parade runs alongside the site—and is adjacent to the Orcas Island Historical Museum.
