The Victorian Home
Frederiksholms Kanal 18, 1220 København, Denmark
The Victorian HomeThe National Museum is a treasure house, but one property under its care is an extra special gem. When prosperous ribbon merchant Rudolph Christensen died in 1925, he left the home he’d spent decades furnishing to his two daughters, Gerda and Ellen, who lived in the house until 1963 without changing a thing. They then bequeathed it to the museum. As a result, you can visit a home that has been unchanged since Victorian times.
