Away from the central city but a short cab ride away, the T Hotel is a terrific place to put your head down in Hong Kong. The "t" stands for training and the hotel is staffed by dozens of eager, hard working students who are pursuing degrees in hospitality. Their English is a little rough but staff on hand serves as translator and educator to their well meaning service. The views are amazing and the rooms outfitted with modern furnishings (and confounding lighting ) The bathroom - a glass box offering views from shower and tub - is a marvel. Visit their restaurant balcony for inexpensive and well prepared meals. Also an on site Chinese training restaurant has a city wide reputation. It's hard to find any fault with this moderately priced gem.
