Okay, I'll fess up-- I stole the picture from the website, but I don't think the guys would mind. I'm giving credit where credit's due. The SC is intimate, relaxed, and lush. The bartenders are chill, friendly, and take shots on the half-hour. They, also, are to be absolutely trusted with your libation-- just tell them what you typically like and they'll serve you up something delicious. JD, the head chef, is a kind, tatted, poetic soul who loves to serve creative, seasonal dishes with lots of heart. Sitting at the bar and munching on lots of small plates is a great way to spend the night-- perfectly seasoned meat, soft-shell crab, duck eggs, and cauliflower hot collies, among many other delicious treats (yes, including steak). Get to know the staff (maybe flirt a little) and you'll be in for a night of wonderful conversation, incredible food, free-flowing drinks, and, often, treats on the house. The service is impeccable and the staff will take you in as a guest in their own home. One of my dear friends introduced me to this charming place and now I will introduce it to you.
