Pretty Rain Gutters
We really enjoyed walking around San Miguel de Allende and while it's easy to focus on the charm of the cobblestone streets, buildings, and beautiful climate; don't forget to look up! Many of the houses have fish, dogs, cats, or lion statues that serve as functional rain gutters. They rain pours off the roof top decks and through the gutters in another example of beauty in this colonial town in Central Mexico.
