The Stray Dog is where—it seems—that all the citizens of New Buffalo refuel after a long day of swimming, sailing, fishing, playing, and otherwise summering. The all-day restaurant (it's open for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week) is perpetually jammed, sun-kissed people wolfing down a bleu-cheese topped Blue Harbor burger or a turkey club as one of the many dog portraits gaze down upon them. On a sunny day, the rooftop is the place to be, a spot where you can sip on a root beer float as you watch the sun sink behind the harbor.
