There's no better way to exercise than with Lake Michigan's sprawling shoreline on one side and majestic skyscrapers on the other. So when the weather obliges, set out to bike, roller-blade or jog along the city’s 18-mile Lakefront Trail. Rock climbing at Maggie Daley Park is another fun outdoor activity. The 40-foot wall offers bouldering, lead-harness, and top rope climbing from beginner to expert terrain. Cubs fans have cheered Wrigley Field's recent facelift, with its new bleachers, artwork, and dining options. If you can’t get tickets, watching a game on the 24 flat-screen TVs at The Fifty/50 is almost as good as being at the stadium. The energy during the playoffs for any sport is riotous, and the wings and burgers are among the best in town.
