Gilt bronze head of Minerva
Within the complex of the Roman Baths, a spectacular museum with short film clips, actors, objects weave the fascinating story of what a 'bath' in the Roman times was.
This fine gilt bronze head belongs to Sulis Minerva, or to whom the altar inside the bath was dedicated to.
In a well lit glass box right next to ruins of the temple, the goddess wonders about her lost Roman kingdom in england!
