Like many restaurants these days, the Reluctant Chef focuses on local ingredients. But without any set menu, chef Tony Butt embraces his creative side by cooking up surprise courses and a menu of meat, fish and vegan options based on his whims and the produce and other ingredients available on any given day. The friendly and improvisational spirit continues downstairs at the Vinyl Room, where guests are invited to pick records from its collection to be played in the bar.
