The Pantry by Stone Hollow Farmstead is located in little house just off the Crestline Village shopping area. It’s where the foodies of Birmingham go to get their favorite artisanal goat cheeses and various sundries, and they stay for a light lunch, a glass of wine and a good cheese board, or if it’s Saturday morning, the best waffle bar you’ve ever seen (fresh goat cheese of course, “cajeta” caramel made with goats milk, vanilla bean syrup, etc.). Owner Debra Stone brings items up daily from her farm, and is one of the city’s champions of the farm-to-table movement. Once a month, Debra hosts a full farm-to-table dinner at her farmstead, about 45 minutes south of town. You can meet the animals while sipping on cocktails, then take your seat on a bale of hay and enjoy one of the best Southern meals you'll ever eat.
