While it’s technically not a South Beach hotel, The Langford deserves a spot on the list for providing travelers with a hip launching pad to up-and-coming downtown Miami. A 1920s Beaux Arts building on the National Register of Historic Places, Bloommiami restored and reimagined the classic architecture and crowned it with a killer rooftop bar. Pawn Broker is a nod to the hotel’s Prohibition Era heyday with playful riffs on classic cocktails and a delicious menu of small plates by Chef Jose Mendin of Pubbelly Group. Don’t skip the Giggle Water, an homage to bathtub gin served in a porcelain tub and topped with lavender foam.
