The Labrador Straits Museum
The Labrador Straits Museum pays homage to the recent history of the Labrador coast, with exhibits focusing on settlement over the past 150 years. There’s an emphasis especially on the role of women. Be sure to check out the 10-foot komatik sleigh used to haul winter wood, as well as the figurehead taken from a wrecked fishing schooner at East St. Modeste.
