Kingston, Jamaica, like most any principal city in any country, can be a little intimidating. Sure, there's lots to discover – rich history, the Caribbean's most vibrant and influential music scene, sizzling nightlife, fashion, amazing cuisine, sports, theater shows, beaches, etc. – but figuring out how to easily (and safely) experience it all can be a challenge.
That's why I love the Free Kingston Walking Tour I saw advertised in the lobby of the Knutsford Court Hotel on my last visit to Jamaica.
(Note: The tour is also available to guests of The Courtleigh Hotel & Suites and The Pegasus Jamaica Hotel, both located within a few blocks of the Knutsford Court. All three properties share the same ownership.)
Offered each week on Thursdays beginning at 9am, the half-day tour takes guests to all of Kingston's top attractions, like Marley House, while also mixing in a few surprises.
Tours are led by Jamaica Cultural Enterprises. Be sure to ask for more information when making hotel reservations or upon check-in.
