This gorgeous art deco hotel is well worth the hefty price tag. Walking through the gates of the Imperial is like entering an oasis after a day in the desert. While Janpath Road is full of the noise and bustle one expects from India's capital city, the Imperial and its grounds offer a luxurious and tranquil respite from the trash and tuc-tuc exhaust.
Pamper yourself at the spa or enjoy doing absolutely nothing poolside while you wait for tea time.
The lobby is filled with orchid arrangements and the subtle fragrance of flowers. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfy, and the laundry service is divine.
Start your evening in the bar/ atrium after a hot day of city trekking and ask for their house-made ginger ale. Made from muddled mint and fresh ginger root, it is refreshing and delightful.
Or grab dinner at one of the restaurants...I recommend Spice. And stop by the bakery after to feed your sweet tooth.
