A Bistro To Go
The House Cafe is a local favorite chain of sophisticated bistros serving that would look perfectly at home in New York or London, with plenty of classic Turkish dishes on their modern menu. The Ortakoy location is especially popular, with its prime-location terrace right on the Bosphorus. It’s on the expensive side, but that doesn’t stop legions of cosmpolitan locals from whiling away a Sunday afternoon here, letting a full Turkish breakfast turn into coffee and cake and then a few glasses of wine while looking out at the Bosphorus, Ortakoy Mosque and the Bosphorus Bridge.
