The Henry Ford
Steeped in Detroit’s unique history of innovation, The Henry Ford, named after the automotive pioneer, is arguably one of the premier education sites in the city. Opened in 1933, the Dearborn cultural institution is home to a vast array of artifacts, including the rocking chair in which Abraham Lincoln was shot and Thomas Edison’s Menlo Park laboratory.
