The Greydon House
As part of their reimagination of this 19th-century residence, New York–based Roman and Williams added a new wing to the 1850s Greek Revival building. The décor in the 20 guest rooms combines objects from Nantucket’s history (whaling artifacts, Native American ceramics), with European flourishes (carved wooden chairs from France, hand-painted tiles imported from Portugal). The property's internal garden is filled with native sea roses and wisteria and lit with traditional Nantucket onion lanterns.
