I didn’t believe this sign. A whole store devoted to fire fighting? But indeed, it’s true: models, toys, books, videos, all about fire fighting and police work. The guy who runs it is a retired Cape Cod firefighter and he’ll chat you up. There’s also a cat, of course. We scored a local toy police car and a Fireman Small book (awesome) for our emergency-vehicle-obsessed son. I’m not sure there’s anywhere else like this in the world. How many stores can you say that about?
If everyone had an outdoor shower like the ones at Calistoga Ranch, the world would be a better place.
