Hidden amongst the scenic mountains nestled below the staggering Cuillins, are magically enchanted waterfalls and crystal clear pools of water. Progressively more beautiful the further down you hike. The scenery itself will entice you to take a quick dip, regardless of the chilling temperature of the water.
To reach the Fairy Pools, you can park in Glenbrittle parking lot. I suggest wearing welllies or a good pair of hiking boots, due to the high rains the night before the path was very muddy when we took it. The walking path is clearly marked to the pools, there are streams, lots of stepping stones and amazing views. Depending on your level of fitness the walk usually will take about 4 hours to and from the Glenbrittle parking lot.
Definitely a must see if your visiting the Isle of Skye!
