The Candy StoreWhen Diane Campbell was 10, she sold gummy bears in plastic bags from her locker. Now she has a whole sweet shop to herself, just off Polk Street. You'll always find a smile on her face as she scoops out more than 300 kinds of candy, including some nostalgic favorites. Abba-Zabas? Big Hunks? Pop Rocks? Pixy Stix? They're all here, and a taste can transport you back to those summer camps and boardwalks of yesteryear. Make your selections from glass jars filled with a sugary rainbow of chewy, sour, and sweet treats that are sold by the pound. Campbell sources her candy from all over the world and specializes in rare finds such as the French River Stones (they really do look like rocks) and champagne roses (which are really filled with champagne). For a great gift, check out the Blast from the Past box.
