Past Meets Future
Past Meets Future
At the far northern end of the Bund, in Shanghai, stands an enormous monument and museum to the people of the city. Once a bustling industrial port, the Bund is now a major tourist attraction. If you arrive at sunrise, don't be surprised to find locals exercising or flying kites. From here you get a clear view of the futuristic skyscrapers across the river, as well as the classic imperial buildings of the early 20th century.

I thought that this image was interesting in that it shows a celebration and remembrance of Shanghai's past, while its future appears full of life and spirit!
