The Baths
On the southwestern tip of the island of Virgin Gorda, huge granite boulders lie in a jumbled mass on a white-sand beach, creating tide pools, tunnels and grottos lapped by blue Caribbean water. This geologic formation, called the Baths, is a popular day-trip destination and a favorite spot for photographers. Visitors come to climb over the boulders, wade through natural tunnels and snorkel over the submerged sections as well as the shallow reefs just offshore.
