My husband and I ate dinner at The Apollo, a really nice restaurant in the Potts Point neighborhood of Sydney (it was recommended by a friend of a friend). It was absolutely bustling on a Sunday night and we opted for two seats at the bar, which always suits us just fine. The restaurant was light, airy and lively. We ordered The Big Greek, which at AUD55 per person, seemed reasonable to us coming from New York City. The Big Greek consisted of 5 very delicious courses, starting with warm pita bread and a spread; a baked cheese which was really tasty; a fresh Greek salad; pork and crispy potatoes. For dessert was a delicious baklava-type pasty filled with walnuts and raisins and topped with a coffee mascarpone. We had a really nice meal, enjoying the local crowd, warm environment and good food.
