Tabuaeran is home to eight tiny villages, with a total population of around 2,000. All of the villages are located on the western side of the island, and to the east is a nature reserve. Tereitaki, not far from Napali Beach, is Tabuaeran’s second-largest settlement, but even while it sits near the top of the list in terms of population, just over 400 people live here.
