First time in Telluride, and it has been fantastic. Great place to learn to snowboard, the snow is amazing. The mountain is beautiful, and the people are so super friendly. You instantly feel right at home. The Jalapeño Margarita at Tomboy Tavern can't be beat.
The soul of Telluride is as strong as the granite core of the mountains that surround it. It reverberates along the historic town’s colorful Main Street, where bikes slow traffic; business takes place on the sidewalk; and down jackets are the height of fashion. The G, the affectionate name for the town’s free gondola, climbs from the laid-back town and up the mountain before descending into the Mountain Village which offers visitors a more contemporary, luxurious atmosphere with a certain European elegance. In Telluride and the Mountain Village, you can eat your cake and have it too—or, in this case, you can pop a PBR and relax with a five-star day at the spa as well.
