Along the Shores of Tel Aviv
The shores of the Mediterranean on the edge of downtown Tel Aviv is the place to be when the sun begins to dip into sea. Families come out on to the grassy lawns of the Charles Clore Gardens. They bring with them mini grills and plates of meat and vegetables and brightly colored hookahs. They are of all different faiths and ethnicities, some dressed conservatively, some in skimpy attire, but all reveling in the warm ocean breeze and the sounds of the surf.
