Teatro Ángela Peralta

S/N, Carnaval, Centro, 82000 Mazatlán, Sin., Mexico

Even if your schedule doesn’t allow you to stick around for a performance of music, dance or theater, take the time to pop into the Teatro Ángela Peralta for a look at Mazatlán’s premier performance venue. Named for a 19th-century opera singer who died in a yellow fever epidemic, the theater has been fully restored. It was declared a national heritage building in 1990 and was reinaugurated by the sitting president at the time, Carlos Salinas de Gortari.
