Hitching a helicopter ride to paradise
Tawang is known as “a hidden paradise” and the name is apt. It’s a charming, small town in North East India ,home to the Monpa tribe who still wear traditional dress giving the town a pink hue. The place is refreshingly devoid of tourist trappings, the air is clean, the mountains are close, the vegetables are all organic and the region boasts 19 varieties of apples.
