Taverna Barba Sideris
This rustic waterside taverna is a great spot for meat lovers. Originally a butcher shop with a sideline in souvlaki (that's grilled lamb on skewers), Barba Sideris (Uncle Sideris) evolved into a traditional barbecue restaurant. Try the
syglino—cedar-smoked, orange-infused pork—or smoked Mani sausages with a distinctive hint of sage. There's also seafood, of course, and a range of choices for vegetarians, such as eggplant salad and
tiropita (cheese pies).
