On the way back to the Bay Area from Yosemite, I was hoping to avoid a chain restaurant for lunch. When I walked in and saw the mariachi violinist seated at one of the tables, I figured I'd found a good spot. The taco al pastor lived up to my expectations, and the jugo de nopal--cactus juice with lime--was a refreshing change from standard soft drinks. When the whole mariachi band showed up and started serenading us, I thought, yeah, this beats McDonalds.
