What is so attractive about café culture? The smell of fresh roasted coffee beans, the milk muffling the scream of steam turning it into foam, draped in a soft warm glow from the repurposed industrial lights. The small wood tables and the hipster baristas.
I needed a change of scenery. I’m in need of a deep breath and a minute away from the London rain. Enter TAP Coffee. Coffee and pastry superbly done and an ambiance that is just right (after all, the ambiance is uber important in a just-right coffee shop wouldn’t you say?). The smallish table says, read and write in your journal here. We are made for old school tasks. Laptops are too ambitious and expansive our tiny corner of London.
Forty-five minutes and two superb macchiato later, I’ve written my mindset out of the maze it was trapped in and ready for the London rain.
